Experience

Steven is Of Counsel at NBC Law. He specializes in corporate transactions and real estate law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, commercial property acquisitions and dispositions, and acquisition financing.  He represents individuals, investors, family offices, private companies, and private equity firms in transactions involving the acquisition, disposition, leasing, management, and financing of a wide variety of health care businesses, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, senior housing, continuing care retirement communities, behavioral health facilities, and applied behavior analysis centers.

With more than 20 years of experience in corporate and real estate law, Steve brings deep expertise to complex transactions in the healthcare M&A sector. Prior to joining NBC Law, he gained valuable experience at prominent firms including Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings in their New York and London offices, Marriott International, where he worked on resort development & acquisitions and real estate joint ventures in their London office, and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where he worked on cross border mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments in their Hong Kong office.
